skip running group to do an awesome bike ride with my husband and friends for his birthday.  We did the Wasatch Crest trail into Millcreek-pipeline and down.  All i could think of the whole time was what a cool run this would be-in the fall maybe!

A great, beautiful trail run up at the cabin-felt better and better as  I went a long.  Did 10 miles on mostly dirt roads-sooo nice!  Lots of steep hills, so not so fast.

Nice quick 3 miles on the dirt roads around the cabin before we packed up to leave. I never wanted to leave though!

Had a great hill workout with the BBK's!  It's a love hate relationship really,  I really love going and seeing everyone and getting pushed but it's so hard!  We did hills and sprints and repeats and I don't even know what else but it was hard.  I had a great time with Julie, Cheris and Kelli-you guys are sooo fast.  I'll try to get up the will to come more often!

I rode with a friend and missed the Bummers but we had a great mellow, long ride.  Legs feel tired from mon. and Tues. still.  I maybe should rest Wed. but biking is so fun.

Ran on my own today, I went climbing all day and that only happens once a year so i didn't want to be tired.  I ran 6 around close to home-miles ranged from 7:30-9:30.  Felt good, I just listened to my ipod and went whatever speed felt good.  I have a very long run planned for Sat. that covers 4 ski areas so I am resting tomorrow!!!

Tried to run from Albion Basin to Brighton ski resort to the pfiferhorn-made it from Albion to Brighton to Alta to snowbird then got caught in a huge rain storm that we were not prepared for! So we did a soggy run down Snowbird and down the Quarry trail till we hit 15 miles then hitchhiked to our cars.  Great trails, great scrambeling, great views!!  Too much hiking, not enough running but still a great day.  Next time will just try from Red Pine to Lone Peak.

Short workout, felt great though and was not ready to stop when I had to go.  We did a track workout, a warm up, some 800's and 400's, a two mile lap and some more cool down stuff.  I had to get home early but I felt like I could keep going today.  I finally feel good again, Sat. I felt like I had a lot more in me when I was done-that's a great feeling to have, I better enjoy it.  I did also eat this morning which helped, a little breakfast shake on the way to the track.   I'm off on a anniv. trip somewhere for the next week, I hope I get some running in!

Great ride today, temps are so nice!  I slept in and rode with some neighborhood friends.  They felt fast today and I felt tired!  We did 19 miles in 1.10 min.  It's hard to ride Wed. after Tues. track workouts!

hiked 7 in Yosemite and ran 3 of it with Matt, so fun to run with Matt.  He's really fast and great on the trails too bad he hasn't got the addiction yet!

Well a week off with lots of hiking and only a little running did more bad then I thought.  Todays workout was hard!  We did a small warm up then 3 -2 miles repeats.  Up a very large hill.  I felt sick this morning-too many brownies last night!  I felt better as we went a long.  I actually felt great on the uphill and somehow was slower then everyone else coming down.  I need to work on my faster downhills!  It was a great workout, kicked my butt-I def. need to go to group more.  In the afternoon I took my boys on a 2 miles hike up the canyon-it was great.  We went so slow I did not feel a thing, I almost feel asleep!

Did a nice group run this morning with Teena, Julie, Shimeele and some other people I don't know.  Fun group, nice run but so humid and yucky!  I felt good, ate a bannana before the run which helped till the very end when i got hungry!  I should have had a gu or something at mile 7 or 8.  I felt good we were not pushing it very hard 8:30-50 avg. pace.

Took my girls to girls from girls camp on a 5 mile hike, got lost (my fault) and ended up taking them 7 but ran 4 more around the trails trying to find the route.  Tired, hot and high elevation.  they were not very happy!

Went and ran the correct Blackhawk trail at Payson lakes, great trail! One of the prettiest trails I've ever done, very scary though to go alone in the early a.m.!   Felt great but could feel the altitude for sure.

I found out I was not going to get to do the midnight 50k I had planned and was already mnt. biking Sat. so i knew I could not run then so.. I set out t 9p.m. and ran for an hour in the dark.  It was actually really nice to run at night, cool and quiet.  I may do that more often.  I just did 7 around the neighborhoods-did rustic roads hills a few times and the south jordan rec.center loop.  Felt good but I go slow on my own, avg. pace 8:30.
