Well a week off with lots of hiking and only a little running did more bad then I thought.  Todays workout was hard!  We did a small warm up then 3 -2 miles repeats.  Up a very large hill.  I felt sick this morning-too many brownies last night!  I felt better as we went a long.  I actually felt great on the uphill and somehow was slower then everyone else coming down.  I need to work on my faster downhills!  It was a great workout, kicked my butt-I def. need to go to group more.  In the afternoon I took my boys on a 2 miles hike up the canyon-it was great.  We went so slow I did not feel a thing, I almost feel asleep!

I was wondering where exactly you guys would run today. Glad I missed the torturous hills, my time off is killing me, too. I am winded walking up the stairs!

I thought you went pretty fast down the hill. I used to be fast on the downhill, but now I'm almost as slow on the downhill as I am on the up hill.

I HATE downhill, I really struggle with it. We ran almost 5 miles of a gradual downhill today and I was slower than when I turned around and ran back up it. Downhill is hard for me, too!

Nice work this morning!! You did a great job, despite feeling sick. Glad you had a good hike with the boys, I love hiking with the kids...gives me an excuse to go slow, doddle and enjoy the scenery :)
